It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for NAPA Ontario’s 2019 Charity Golf Tournament.

The setting was the idyllic Club at Bond Head, one of the most picturesque courses in Southern Ontario. A total of 214 golfers signed up to take part and play 18 holes for a good cause, in this case the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.

The foundation provides opportunities for children suffering from serious illnesses (in many cases life-threatening) to realize a dream, whether it’s going to Disney World, meeting their favourite celebrity or partaking in their favourite activity.

During the evening dinner reception, following the tournament, NAPA Ontario Regional Vice President Chris Kinghorn and Marketing Coordinator Christine Herr, presented Emily Sangster of the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada with a cheque for $15,000. A special prize was an additional $10,000 donated by a very generous individual which brought the total amount to $25,000! A fine way to round off a superb day and all in the name of charity!
