AAPEX recently announced that it has lined up its top training partners for this year’s AAPEXedu.

Industry organizations will offer their training expertise at 2019 AAPEXedu, through a mix of classroom, hands-on and underhood sessions for the benefit of automotive repair professionals, auto parts retailers as well as warehouse distributors (WDs).

A forum on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS); a Service Professionals Summit; Mobility Garage: Products and Training for Tomorrow and Let’s Tech presentations; as well as sessions on trends, market outlook, technologies, tariffs, etc., are some of the things on this year’s AAPEXedu program agenda.

AAPEXedu partners AVI, RLO Training, the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC), the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) and MERA—The Association for Sustainable Manufacturing will come together to share their expertise at the event. Additionally, co-owners of AAPEX, the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) are also scheduled to provide training and education.

Attendees will receive information regarding current aftermarket outlook and consumer and industry trends from the NPD Group, a market research company, and IHS Markit, a key player in critical information, analytics and solutions. Ronald Berger, a global consultancy firm will focus its discussion on the new retail frontier and the future of the automotive aftermarket.

AAPEXedu classroom sessions will be held at the Bellini Ballroom at The Venetian, for the convenience of attendees. The adjacent Titian Ballroom will host Mobility Garage featuring underhood training and two sections: Shop Equipment and Technology, and Electric Car and Alternative Fuel/Energy. The Let’s Tech presentation is scheduled to be held in the Sands Expo, Level 2 Upper Lobby.

AAPEX has released a preliminary schedule for AAPEXedu sessions on its website. Training schedule for the Mobility Garage and Let’s Tech presentations will be released in July. Registrations for the AAPEXedu sessions are included with the AAPEX 2019 registration.

AAPEX is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, November 5 through Thursday, November 7, at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.
